INVISIBILIDAD. LA ANTESALA DEL OLVIDO Y LA EXCLUSIÓN DE LOS DESEMPLEADOS MAYORES

Resumen

Este artículo desde su título hace alusión a la invisibilidad sufrida por los colectivos más vulnerables, invisibilidad que les deja sin voz, que les aísla socialmente y que se convierte en la antesala del olvido. En este trabajo de revisión teórica se abordan las dinámicas que provocan la exclusión social y que influyen de forma recíproca en los procesos de exclusión laboral. A su vez se tratan los principales ámbitos y factores que la originan o acentúan, causantes de la relegación social de estas personas, cuya problemática se diluye en la marginación. Este marco de comprensión sienta las bases para adentrarnos, en la parte final de este artículo, en los procesos discriminatorios que atañen a los desempleados mayores, dando cierre a este trabajo.

Abstract: This article makes allusion from its title to the invisibility suffered by the most vulnerable collectives, an invisibility which leaves them without their voice, socially cuts them off and turns into the eve of the oblivion. In this theoretical review, dynamics which cause social exclusion and mutually affect to the labour exclusion processes are presented. In turn, the main fields and factors which occasionate or accentuate it, cause of the social relegation of these people, whose problems become blurred in the marginalization, are addressed. This understanding setting sets the basis to study thoroughly, at the end of this article, into the discriminatory processes that concern to the older unemployed, concluding this study.
